Maya Hot Chocolate
The Maya features 100% pure chocolate, also known as ceremonial grade, blended with black pepper, cayenne pepper, and cinnamon. It pays homage to the ancient use of cacao seeds, which were initially fermented into a wine called Chicha.
The Maya crafted various ritualistic drinks with cacao beans, marking a significant step towards the chocolate we enjoy today. We offer lighter options for those who likes it sweeter:

Milk Hot Chocolate
Milk chocolate is the next step towards a chocolate bar. When the Spanish landed in Mexico in the 1520s, they were served a bitter beverage that they didn't really like. However, they understood that cacao was used as currency among the locals, so it was brought back to the King of Spain.
The beverage was quickly modified by using milk instead of water and adding sugar or honey. We normally serve it as 50% dark milk chocolate, and it can be served with homemade almond milk for an extra $1.

White Hot Chocolate
White chocolate is the more modern version of hot chocolate. We make our white chocolate here using 40% cocoa butter, 40% milk, and 20% sugar. It is the sweetest beverage of all, but it doesn't contain much sugar. We always say, it's not really sweet; it just lacks bitterness!

"We are very proud of the coffee we use, which comes from what we believe is the best region for coffee in Costa Rica: Santa Maria de Dota. It features fruity and chocolaty notes with amazing acidity and complexity.
Cappuccino
Cappuccino is a classic. With the amazing notes of our coffee, it is the most requested coffee here. Remember, it's made with 1 part espresso and 2 parts milk.

Even though our coffee is really good, adding our bean-to-bar chocolate definitely makes it a unique experience. Just 15g of chocolate of your choice will transform it into a new kind of coffee!

Living in tropical weather means it often gets very hot. For a refreshing and nourishing treat, we offer the option to enjoy any of the drinks on our menu iced.

Vegan Citrus & Almond Cake
This cake is crafted to offer a delightful vegan pastry. We alternate between using oranges and lemons, both of which pair beautifully with the generous chunks of dark chocolate found in every bite

We began this project with 2 key goals to create an environmentally friendly initiative and to support the Indigenous Community by sourcing high quality cacao, we ensure that the farmers receive fair compensation for their hard work, allowing us to craft a delicious and healthy chocolate just for you.
Our aim is not only to provide a tasty treat but also to foster a meaningful connection between consumers and the communities that contribute to the product we cherish.
