Our Social Side
The project started with two things in mind, to be as ecological as possible, and to have non-profit events with the Indigenous Community and Chocolate.
How can you come to Costa Rica and not have any knowledge of the native Indigenous communities? Our project aims to bridge this gap by offering an educational and cultural experience.
We strive to make our events not only enjoyable but also enriching, providing insights into the rich traditions and heritage of the Indigenous communities. Join us in celebrating and learning about the vibrant culture that is an integral part of Costa Rica.
Events
I believe I've discovered the key to happiness: helping others who deserve it without expecting anything in return. I don't share this to boast, but in the hope of inspiring others to do even better.
Non-¨Profit Events with the Indigenous Community
We have had the honor of hosting 10 non-profit events with the Ngobe Indigenous Community. Our mornings are filled with enriching workshops where the community shares their traditional crafts, such as creating bags from Pita and Cabuya leaves, making sombreros from Palm leaves, crafting cloth from tree bark, and making Jicaras for Cacao ceremonies. We also explore the wonders of medicinal plants. As the sun sets, we gather for a humble and original Cacao Ceremony, hosted by the Ngobe, followed by a dinner featuring their traditional products, allowing us to experience their rich cultural heritage.
Chocolate and Cacao non-profit events
Chocolate is renowned for bringing happiness into people's lives, and our events have been no exception. Through various gatherings, we have aimed to spread joy with one of the most delightful products that enrich our daily lives. These moments have been deeply touching, adding more love to our project. To me, happiness means creating magical moments for those who are suffering or simply in need of a little help
Ngobe Non-Profit events
Looking back at thing, I can say now I didn't know much what I was doing.
One thing for sure is that was coming from a good place, it was coming from my heart and we definitely understood better with time how hard their life really is and how many beautiful things they were willing to share.
For me personally, has been an amazing learning process. Luckily many people attended
Crafting chocolate with love and integrity.
